The Zwift Academy Finals, held in Denia, Spain, is a prestigious talent identification and training program that annually awards professional cycling contracts to standout athletes. In the 2023 edition, two athletes were awarded contracts with CANYON//SRAM Generation and the Alpecin-Deceuninck Development Team, following a series of intense challenges and races both on the road and in Zwift’s virtual environment.
As part of the audiovisual production, extensive preparations were made, including road closures for filming on public roads, the use of drones for dynamic footage, and comprehensive logistical support. This included preparing the hotel for the shoot, managing rooms, transportation, and ensuring that all facilities were ready for the filming process. The event was broadcasted on Eurosport, showcasing the rigorous selection process to a global audience.
